Cancer statistics
Canadian Cancer Statistics publication
The publication Canadian Cancer Statistics is part of an annual series that began in 1987 and has been developed by members of the Canadian Cancer Statistics Steering Committee. The goal of this annual publication is to provide health professionals, researchers, policy makers and interested members of the general public with detailed information regarding incidence, mortality, and other measures of cancer burden for the most common types of cancer by age, sex, year and province or territory.
Each year, in addition to the standard content of the Canadian Cancer Statistics a special topic of focus is selected, for which detailed analysis, are developed.
PowerPoint versions of all figures from the Canadian Cancer Statistics publication and supplementary figures developed based on the data from this publication are available for download and use in presentations or publications.
